How to submit an invoice with iEDI.online
This guide explains how to submit an invoice with iedi.online.
1) Click on "create invoice" directly from the dashboard or find the same button under "Sales" in the menu
bar.
2) Choose the customer whom shall receive the invoice. It must be an existing customer, so if you have
not created the customer in the system, please do it first.
3) Select a date for the invoice
4) Click submit
5) On the product line, enter the relevant information on the product(s) to be invoiced.
Click the buttons below the item line to add a new row (item line) or product from your product catalog.
6) In the box "General" you can:
a. Change invoice number
b. Change the date of the invoice
c. Add due date
d. Change the status of the invoice (draft, sent, etc.)
e. Add your buyer's contact information
7) In the box "References" you can:
a. Add the seller's order number
b. Add the date when the order was received
c. Add Requisition (Buyer's Order Number)
d. Adding an invoice reference (used only in case of creditnote)
8) In the box "Delivery" you can:
a. Choose the method of delivery
b. Add a note regarding delivery
c. Add date of delivery
d. Add the package number for tracking the package
9) In the box "Payment" you can:
a. Choosing a payment method (If you choose FIK, you must also add a Card Type)
b. Enter payment advice, eg account number, IBAN or FIK code.
c. Enter payment terms
10) In the box "EDI" you can:
a. Add identification number to both buyer and recipient of the invoice. If the buyer is the same who will
receive the invoice, simply enter the same identification number.
The number can be a CVR, EAN, GLN or ILN number.
b. “Deliveryplace Identification” can be added if the item is to be delivered elsewhere than to the buyer.
c. Enter the endpoint (where the invoice will be sent to).
For example, it can be a CVR, EAN, ILN, GLN number or even just an e-mail address.
d. Add a transaction number used to track messages on external networks (eg VANS).
e. Add a date for when the EDI invoice or creditnote will be sent.
f. Select EDI profile
The EDI profile determines how messages are exchanged.
PEPPOL is the European EDI format for exchange with European companies.
EDIFACT is the International EDI format.
11) You have the option of adding notes and attachments to your invoice at the bottom of the page.
12) Click the orange "Send" button in the upper right to send the invoice, or click the green "save" button
to save the invoice without sending it.
